ABSTRACT
The rapid advancement of information technology has led to the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital resources in the education sector. Within medical education, there is a pressing need to enhance the digital and AI literacy of pathology educators to address contemporary challenges, including demands for pedagogical innovation and the need for accelerated knowledge renewal. The deployment of AI technologies and digital resources offers educators powerful new tools and platforms for effective professional development. However, challenges persist, such as low acceptance rates of new technologies among teaching staff and a lack of systematic training. This paper explores methods to enhance the digital and AI literacy of pathology educators within this context. By analyzing the current state of pathology education, applications of AI technology, and the integration of digital resources, we propose actionable strategies and implementation pathways. Our findings provide a robust framework to support the continuous professional growth of pathology educators.
