ABSTRACT
In the context of the Digital Intelligence Era, artificial intelligence (AI) literacy has become a core competence for individuals to adapt to social and industrial changes. The medical field is an important frontier for the application of AI; therefore, the cultivation of AI literacy among medical students is of great significance for their adaptation to future intelligent medical environments. Thus, this study focuses on medical students as the research subjects. In-depth semi-structured interviews with 25 medical students were conducted, and the context was coded and analyzed according to grounded theory. The study identifies the core driving factors of AI literacy among medical students, which consist of four dimensions: individual, technological, educational, and social environment. Based on these findings, the study proposes countermeasures and suggestions for fostering the subject consciousness of medical students, optimizing tool design, improving the training system, and enhancing policy support.
